NOTE: These graphs are based on the numbers available publicly on the Bryan County Schools web page. These are the actual numbers reported by the school district, one county over from a school system that shuts down entire schools if someone sneezes (Chatham County).
The top line is the total number of in-person students county-wide, ranging from 6,621 to 7,444. The gray line is the number of students quarantined for “school-related close contact”, while the blue line is the number of actual positive cases. Yes, there have been some: plotted without the total line, it’s a little more visible. Note the vertical scale is absolute: that’s not scaled or multiplied by anything.
